On Monday, May 14, 2012, I received a fax from Andi Kovacs. Her
message to me was that early on that morning God had spoken to her to go
to Isaiah 43:18-19. As she began to pray, she felt the necessity to
contact Pastor Lois. At our Monday evening bible study and prayer, I
asked those who were present to pray out of portions of that scripture.
During the prayer time, Madlynn Shore, who is my administrator, was
instructed by the Holy Spirit to pen the words that were being prayed.
The following document is the prophetic insight and poetic form that came from that extraordinary evening. As you read, enter into the insight that came to us that evening.
A Prayer of New Beginnings
Do
not call to mind the things that are out of order,
displaced
things, places of emptiness and despair.
For
you were always there Lord.
Pondering
is a slow way of thinking, keeping us from the future.
The
past gets in the way.
Let
the words we speak be life changing
and
let us be healed from the iniquity of our past.
Behold
Your beauty Lord, Your loveliness, Your gentleness.
Your
messages are in the clouds.
You
are tangible to us. We seek to be like You.
We
will do something new. We will not do the same old thing.
We
know all things. We will continue to search our spirit for the new thing.
The
water is life, rivers of living water.
You
are watering us to show Your beauty in us.
And
will we not be aware of it?
To
consider others before ourselves, to bring You good pleasure.
Pursuing
and driving forward to have our eyes opened to hear the Spirit,
to
hear Your whispers.
Let
us be aware of the snares, the pitfalls, the enemy.
Let
us go to the dry land, the wilderness, the wild.
We
will fight and come out into the world to fight Goliath.
You
will make a road for us into these wildernesses.
We
will allow you to do this.
It’s
now time for the rivers of life to flow.
The
reservoirs will fill up the dry places. The barren places will come alive.
We
speak life to sickness and disease.
There’s
a new river of life flowing. Together we can create a river.
Let
it rain Lord. Thank You for the new thing.
All
things are becoming new.
