Greetings from Bob and Jeanne Strobel

Greetings,

Jeanne and I have been back here in the Philippines for a little over two weeks now. We are thankful that the typhoon that just passed through the Philippines did us no harm. It has been a very busy and excellent time so far. It always amazes us how we can be gone for a few months and just get plugged back into the flow so quickly. It is as if we never left.


One difference this time is that Pastor Herb Hutchinson joined us just two days after we arrived and it has been non-stop ever since. He just left two days ago. We have been in fellowship with Herb for 20 years and he has had an open invitation to come over with us throughout all these years, so it was a joy that the time finally came.


Any wondering we have had about why his joining us over here did not happen sooner was completely satisfied by the awareness that this is the right time. We have had the privilege over the 27 years we have been in the Philippines to host many wonderful ministries. Since all of those we have hosted over the years have been such a blessing, the Lord has helped us to have a good reputation in that realm. As a result, the people were expectant, ready and open to receive Herb’s ministry.


Herb brought a wonderful flow of Apostolic vision, prophetic impartation and anointed teaching that was effective and a blessing to all of us. I personally have been so looking forward to this time with him here because I knew his revelation was in the flow with me and would bring such confirmation that we would be able to move up to another level here. So it was, praise God!


It is also very significant that our relationship with him, his wife Lois and his church has brought us to the place where his coming here was the beginning of a commitment he has made to come along side us and help us build what the Lord desires of us here. He will be back in March to continue to help further establish things here with us. Our folks here are encouraged and grateful.


What an amazing hour we live in. Isaiah 59 through 62 is so descriptive of this hour we live in and how the Hand of the Lord is on us for this time. The first verse of each chapter highlights what is in my spirit:


Isaiah 59:1 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not so short That it cannot save; Nor is His ear so dull That it cannot hear.


60:1 "Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.


61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, Because the LORD has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to captives And freedom to prisoners;…..


62:1 For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, And for Jerusalem's sake I will not keep quiet, Until her righteousness goes forth like brightness, And her salvation like a torch that is burning.


We appreciate your prayers and support so much. We have many challenges ahead of us here and because of so many things the Lord has done in preparation, we have a confidence that we are going to see the Glory of the Lord manifest in ways we have not seen before. We have marriage issues, church leadership issues and many other things to deal with in the realm of the churches we are so blessed to be assigned to. Not only is God able, we are confident He has things in place to bring victory in every realm.
